The terms and conditions are in place to ensure appropriate use of our website. Using our website implies that you accept these terms so please read before use. Note that they may be updated without notification.

 

We hope that the site is user friendly and accessible without having to place an order or give any personal information to access. The website may become unavailable due to reasons beyond our control such as site maintenance or system failure. We will try where possible to give notice of any downtime but are not obliged to do so.

  • discriminatory, liable to incite hatred, obscene or pornographic or demonstrating behaviour that would be considered a criminal offence

All content, images, text, product and intellectual property is own by Archiplego Knitwear or third party associates and is protected by intellectual property law in the UK and internationally. Content must not be used or reproduced commercially without consent or falsely affiliated in a misleading way.

At Archipelago Knitwear, we care about your privacy and are committed to protecting it, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

 

We collect personal information where it is necessary for processing purchases, replying to enquiries, use of social media and for analytics relating to browsing. The term ‘personal information’ refers to information that can identify, relate to and be associated with you.

 

The information we collect may include:

  • shopping information, items viewed and added to cart

SALES & PAYMENT

Payment is taken at time of order and prior to product being made or delivered. If for any reason an order cannot be fulfilled, notification will be given and refund made. When placing orders it is your responsibility to ensure all details are correct and there are sufficient funds to process payment. Note that we endeavour to present products and colours on the site as best as visually possible however slight changes may occur due to screen manipulation or settings.

DELIVERY

Many of our items for sale are made to order, which means once your order is placed, it may take up to 10 days (longer for busier periods) for your item to be knitted, finished, packaged and posted. We currently deliver to the UK only, using Royal Mail tracked service.

 

We charge a standard £4 delivery charge, with free delivery for orders over £100.

RETURNS POLICY

PRODUCTS

We hope you are happy with your purchase, however if you wish to return your order, we will accept this within 14 days of receipt of delivery.

We will process a refund if item is in original condition, unused and with tags attached & in its original packaging so that we can resell the item.

Returns must be sent, at customer’s own cost, to the address below:

Please ensure the package is tracked, as we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage in transit. Please include name and order number, so that we can process the refund to the correct person, stating reason why the item is unsuitable.

This will be processed via original payment method, once item has been inspected, and you will be notified when to expect the refund.

If the return is received outwith the 14-day period or is in an unsellable condition, the item may be returned to the customer with no refund given.

If you wish to exchange your order for a different item, you will need to return the item as above and place a new order through the website so that we can make the new item for you.

Note that Gift Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded.

CANCELLATION POLICY

CLASSES

If a class has been booked and paid for, we can allow cancellations up until 10 days before the class. This will allow us to re-advertise your space. We cannot provide refunds for cancellations made after this period.

 

If class spaces are not filled, we reserve the right to cancel a class and where possible, recommend an alternative class. If this cannot be fulfilled, we will issue a refund for the cancelled class.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

All knitted products are made from 100% lambswool. This means that they will shrink or felt if washed too hot or rigorously. We recommend that you either dry clean your items or handwash in luke-warm water, with mild detergent and little agitation. Please rinse gently and dry flat.
